Eric R. Haynes, MD, is a board-certified pain medicine physician dedicated to the study and treatment of chronic pain. He believes in an individualized approach to pain management, creating personalized treatment plans that address each patient’s unique condition, goals, and overall well-being. Dr. Haynes provides expert care at Comprehensive Pain Management Partners, with offices in Tampa, Dade City, Venice, and New Port Richey, Florida.
Dr. Haynes earned his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College and completed his medical education at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He went on to complete his internship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, followed by a residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Before co-founding Comprehensive Pain Management Partners (CPMP) in 1997, Dr. Haynes served as a Staff Anesthesiologist at E.W. Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, where he specialized in obstetric anesthesia and pain management. He has been practicing medicine since 1987 and is licensed to practice in both Michigan and Florida.
Dr. Haynes is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and the American Academy of Pain Management.
His extensive experience and commitment to collaborative care enable him to offer comprehensive pain solutions that focus on improving function, comfort, and quality of life.
